Hi! My name is Janessa Jackson and I'm currently a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. I hope to major in communications and film studies and work in some job that allows me to be creative. Although I attend school in Pennsylvania, I grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Gaithersburg is located about a half hour from Washington D.C. so I will be directly affected by the construction of the Intercounty Connector especially since my house is less than a mile away from interstate 370 and 270. Also as a Maryland licensed driver my 1995 Camaro and I have traveled all of Maryland's major interstates and let me just say it is not pretty. I hope you enjoy my site and it opens your eyes to the concerns that surround Maryland's Intercounty Connector.
